Miles ShepheardEXPERIENCE:
Miles has carried out successful assignments with clients in the private and public sectors since 1985, applying a whole systems approach to the field of policy, strategy, organisational development and redesign. The primary focus for his work has been helping organisations and the individuals within them to understand the systems of which they are part, and to assist them to change and develop them from within. He has advised and led organisational design in many settings for a variety of clients. He brings extensive facilitation skills and the ability to engage multiple parties in the processes of design, realisation and sustaining of complex, multiparty strategies across the public and private sectors. He works extensively in inter-organisational and inter-sectoral relationships, both government and business, particularly establishing and ensuring the success of partnering and alliancing relationships. Miles is often asked to assist in difficult situations and with seemingly intractable problems. He is an accredited mediator and dispute resolver, and member of the Australasian and American Alternative Dispute Resolution Associations. He is an experienced coach and mentor of both developing and senior Managers and Directors. Between 1998 and 2003 Miles taught strategy and systems at Unitec, and in 2010 and 2011 he taught a research paper at the Graduate School of Enterprise at Auckland University. QUALIFICATIONS:
